Godino’s Bakery enjoys preparing elegant cake confections that are exquisite in both form and flavor. Our designs range from traditional to contemporary and will complement the theme of your special day.

Paul Godino, Pastry Chef and co-owner has worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years. He holds Degrees in Aviation and the Culinary Arts field. Paul received his culinary degree at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY in 1994. He received an outstanding baker award as well. Since graduation Paul has stayed on top of the latest pastry trends and taken classes in chocolate sculpting, pulled sugar art and gum paste. Paul is the former owner of Ganache Bakery & Cafe, located in downtown Greensboro. He was voted 2002 Small Business Man of the Year for Guilford County and was entered into the running for the same award for the State of North Carolina. He did a cooking segment on 2 local news channels weekly for 6 years while owning Ganache. Many of his cakes and Wedding Cakes were featured in Elegant Bride Magazine on the cover as well as inside. One of his cakes was featured in Southern Living Magazine for a wedding in Chapel Hill, NC. He was asked to do Barbie’s 40th Birthday cake for Mattel. The photo shoot was for Sky Magazine, the Feature Magazine found on all Delta Airlines airplanes. While with Ganache he donated to many local charities and was the largest contributor to The Triad Health Projects, Dining for Friends Gala. Mary Ann has made chocolates for over 20 years and has trained under Paul since 2008 in the art of baking and cake decorating.  She continues to work in the financial industry where she launched her career over 30 years ago. We have a blended family with six children.  At home our family experiences the culinary vision by helping with baking and cooking family meals.
